Natural History Opening Program

Tania Gonzalez, VP of Earth Consultants International, Inc., will give a talk titled "Geology of the Los Angeles Basin and Puente Hills." She will give an overview of the local geology with an emphasis on the Whittier and Puente Hills faults and the hazards these faults pose to the Whittier area. The talk starts at 2 pm and reservations are not required. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
