SUMMARY:Annual Membership Meeting of the Whittier Historical Society
DESCRIPTION:All are invited to the Annual Meeting of the Whittier Historical Society (WHS) on Wednesday\, Sept. 24.  Doors open at 6 pm and the program starts at 6:30. \nPaul White of White-Emerson Mortuary will be giving a talk on the long history of his family business in Whittier (over 100 years)\, as well as discussing wills and pre-planning arrangements. \nThe WHS treasurer\, Nick Tell\, will also provide information about the financial health of the WHS.  Vice President Rob Marin will be discussing our upcoming Endowment Fund drive. \nEnjoy an old-fashioned root beer float while you’re here and check out our new exhibit:  125th Anniversary of Whittier High School.
