Tommy (Tom, Thomas) A. Long was born in 1943, in Whittier, California, twenty miles South East of Los Angeles. He lived on Pacific Place, aka Popsicle Street, a short twelve house cul-de-sac surrounded by orange and avocado groves, until he was fourteen years old. He truly enjoyed a “Leave it to Beaver” childhood.
