The WHITTIER HISTORICAL SOCIETY is a non-profit corporation that collects, preserves, and displays the history of Whittier. In addition to the Whittier Museum, the Society staffs Historic Bailey House, publishes The Gazette, operates a museum store, and produces historical programs and exhibits.
Your membership in the Whittier Historical Society includes:
- Unlimited admission to the Museum & Bailey House.
- Subscription to our monthly newsletter, The Gazette, delivered by US mail or e-mail.
- Unlimited access to the Museum's library and archives, by appointment.
- Time Traveler benefits at other museums (see below).
- 10% discount on all merchandise purchased at the Museum Store.
- Discounts on events and site use of the Museum
- Key Patrons receive one free site use of the Museum.

The Whittier Museum participates in the Time Travelers program. Members of participating Museums are eligible for discounts on admissions, gift shop purchases and more at museums across the country. To see a list of participating museums and discounts they offer, click on the Time Travelers logo.
A membership card is required to access Time Traveler benefits at other museums. Although the Whittier Museum no longer issues membership cards to our members, we can make a card for you upon request. Please call the Office Manager at 562 945-3871.
