September 30, 2017(2 events) The First 7 Days after the Quake – The exhibit will kick off at 10 a.m. with a presentation by renowned earthquake authority Dr. Dennis Mileti starting at 11 a.m. at the Whittier City School District office. Dr. Mileti will discuss “The First 7 Days after the Quake.” After the presentation, the exhibit’s grand opening will take place at the Whittier Museum. Quake City '87 Opening Day – Arrive at noon to experience L.A. County’s “Shaky Quaky” earthquake simulator.
