Join us on Saturday, November 8th, for the final showing of the local favorite film, The Lost Era, produced by John MacLean. This film details the life of local artist Artist Pete Hampton (1940-2018). Pete grew up in La Habra Heights in the early 1940s. The Whittier Historical Society has partnered with Jacob Caputo, creator of the Haunted Whittier: Ghosts, Myths & Legends Tours, to create this one of a kind, immersive experience where guests explore the blackened halls of the Whittier Museum while recounting very real local stories of ghosts, hauntings and unexplained events. The next painting workshop with Art Duran will be held on Friday, April 24 at 6:30 pm at the Whittier Museum. All materials to paint your own masterpiece will be provided! Founders Day is a Whittier tradition since the days of Jonathan Bailey! Join us on Saturday May 9 from 10am until 2pm at Central Park (6532 Friends Ave.) in Uptown Whittier. This is a great event for families as there will be something for everyone! Food, entertainment, games, booths from Whittier non-profits and local businesses, and more! Free to all.
